Learning to Lean Back

Learning to lean back and let go.
Let the pieces fall where they may.

Sometimes, when you love someone who doesn’t see you; who doesn’t realize that you’re just being there for them simply because you care so much, they can misunderstand your intentions, misconstrue your words, and blindly fight against it. In such cases, sometimes it is best to not force it upon them but just lean back, bag back some and let them miss what was taken for granted or over-looked. Let them come to realize for themselves what was given to them. In the meantime, love yourself and take time for yourself. When all is said and done and if you think they are worth it, invite them back into your heart. If not, remember: you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink and sometimes you never miss your water till your well runs dry.

No use in exhausting yourself in vain. Sometimes we just have to let go and let God because it is all that we can do.

Be kind, stay safe, and stay alive.
